Warehouse Inventory - 3rd Shift

Role Overview

The position involves assembling orders, preparing goods for shipment, and maintaining accurate shipment records. It serves as the primary contact for shipping and receiving activities, handling tasks such as unpacking materials, reporting damages, and completing shipping reports. The role requires maintaining vendor and internal communication to resolve shipping issues, operating shipping equipment, and managing mailing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate shipping equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely.
• Accurately process shipments, returns, and inter-plant transfers.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies, perform cycle counts, and replenish stock.
• Use computer programs such as SAP, Warehouse Management, and Excel for tracking and data entry.
• Deliver items within the facility and coordinate with departments.
• Complete end-of-day transactions and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma or GED with at least 1-year inventory control experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate to advanced SAP skills.
• Experience with warehouse equipment like reach lifts and electric pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and verify documents against physical products.
• Must be 18+ years old.
