About the role

The Warehouse II role focuses on moving product within the warehouse and serves as backup delivery driver for non‑CDL trucks. It is a general labor position that prioritizes and picks product to fill orders, and involves physically moving and lifting product weighing up to 150 pounds. Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparation of paperwork; may assist in daily closing of the warehouse.
• Assist in verifying all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size and type; inform management of inventory and supply shortages and assist in actual periodic inventory counts.
• Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of products to vendor, etc.; segregate defective product from normal flow of inventory.
• Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
• Designate and organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow.
• Load and unload delivery trucks – lifting products up to approximately 50 pounds; handling of tires (rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 50 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) safely and maintain operator license if required.
• Perform periodic facilities maintenance and custodial/housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock and surrounding area; keep floors clear of debris, maintain bathrooms and assist in daily warehouse closing.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree
• 1‑2 years of related experience preferred

Pay

$20.00 per hour
