Warehouse Helper

Job Summary

The Warehouse Helper is responsible for safely loading materials utilizing forklifts. Responsibilities include receiving incoming materials from vendors, verifying quantity for accuracy, describing, amounts, and completing appropriate paperwork. Other duties involve order picking, will call orders, assisting in loading customer's vehicles with materials, reporting problems, deliveries, service issues, etc. Additionally, the position requires assisting in taking inventory as needed.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb
• Experience driving a forklift
• Must have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds of material continually
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Forklift Certified
• Previous material handling a plus
