WAREHOUSE GENERAL LABOR- Weekend A Shift

Warehouse Associate position focused on pallet handling, labeling, and facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Remove spreaders from Quick Freeze Method (QFM) pallets using tilt table, clamp truck, and wrap machine.
- Label cases for export and other projects as needed.
- Perform facility cleaning of assigned areas, including breakrooms, locker rooms, freezer, and dock.
- Change batteries for warehouse equipment as applicable to the site.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently; must have required training.
- Communicate with site/shift leadership to complete assigned duties.
- Follow established work procedures, work rules, and maintain productivity levels.
- Adhere to professional standards in appearance and communication.
- Participate in staff and/or customer meetings if required.
- Prevent and address non-conformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
- Identify, record, and recommend solutions for issues relating to product, processes, and quality.
- Verify implementation of solutions.
- Follow all posted security and safety procedures at all times.
- Participate in safety and educational training.
- Perform other projects as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous high-reach forklift and/or warehouse training.
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. with assistance occasionally.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Speak and hear clearly for safety and productivity.
- Use scanners, tablets, radios, phones, and other warehouse machinery.
- Ability to lift overhead.
- Ability to work overtime as an essential part of the position due to demand.
- Drive a registered motor vehicle to satisfy daily requirements.
- Acceptable and/or correctable vision.
- Work in temperature ranges of +50 to -30 degrees F with moderate noise levels.
- High level of personal interaction and communication with others.
- Good arithmetic and reading skills.
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions and company policies.
- Self-starter capable of working independently and coordinating with others.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while managing stress and productivity guidelines.
