WAREHOUSE FULFILLMENT SPECIALIST 1st SHIFT

About the role

We are looking for a Fulfillment Specialist to join our award-winning team at Suttle-Straus, a premier provider of printing, wide format, digital, mailing, custom kitting, warehousing, and distribution services. This role focuses on accurately and efficiently shipping product to customers by picking and preparing fulfillment orders, packaging for designated shipping methods, and processing shipments through our shipping systems. The Fulfillment Specialist must handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand production job tickets and fulfillment pick lists.
• Operate forklifts, man-up order pickers, and riding pallet jacks.
• Ensure product is properly packaged and prepared for shipment.
• Pack orders made up of multiple items into boxes.
• Assist in implementing ongoing Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Maintain clean work areas.

Requirements

• One year of experience in warehouse pick/pack.
• Proficient keyboard and computer skills.
• Experience operating forklifts, man-up order pickers, and riding pallet jacks (preferred).
• Strong counting and reading ability.
• General knowledge of shipping carriers and services.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Works well independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and/or moving around.
• Frequently lift up to 20 pounds.
• Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Occasionally bend, squat, or kneel.
• Comfortable working at heights up to five racks.
