Warehouse/Forklift Operator/Flat Bed Truck Driver - Austin Industrial (Channelview, TX)

Responsibilities

Must be able to maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product for shipping; moving and organizing inventory as needed; operating forklift to move items. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs.
• Operate standup or sit-down Forklift under general supervision.
• Manipulate or depress cane controls to regulate speed and direction of Forklift and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
• Report repairs for Forklift as needed.
• Inspect Forklift for safety issues daily.
• Determine if any parts are malfunctioning.
• Cleans, maintains, and lubricates equipment.
• Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork.
• Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.
• Drive trucks to worksites and unload trucks.
• Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads.
• Move levers and pedals to move Forklift on chassis to raise and lower Forklift Forks to raise and lower load-line.
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
• Operate Forklift according to signals from helper.
• Start and stop Forklift engine.
• Driver Flat Bed Truck
• Able to work with Catalyst
• Work while wearing a full-face mask and Tykeim suit.
• Other duties as assigned.
