Mechanic/Fuel Truck Driver - Austin Industrial (Corpus Christi, TX)

Responsibilities
- Performs skilled work such as engine performance diagnosis, troubleshoot and make needed repairs.
- Repair or replace broken motors, brakes, transmissions.
- Repair or replace broken AC.
- Repair Body work.
- Do tune ups fluid changes and other issues involving automotive repair.
- Abide by the Company Policies such as attendance, safety, processes, teamwork, training, etc.
- Repair and maintain park vehicle fleet.
- Repair and maintain park generators.
- Repair and maintain small engines on various park equipment.
- Perform mechanical inspections and repairs to rides.
- Transporting fuel and fueling equipment.
- Work with other departments to complete other duties as assigned.
- Maintain equipment and tolls in good condition.
- Exhaust knowledge is a plus.
- Transport and deliver gasoline to assigned accounts on daily route.
- Respond to spills and environmental releases according to company emergency response plan and EPA guidelines.
- Communicate delivery exceptions, product shortages, and equipment issues to dispatch and terminal management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must be able to read scanners and understand codes for diagnosis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job including sitting, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, and adjusting focus.
Qualifications
- No minimum education requirements.
- A Valid CDL-A with HAZMAT endorsements and TWIC Card.
- 4 years of Journeyman level experience.
