Warehouse Forklift Operator

Pay

Starting pay is $21.84 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential. Overtime opportunities available.

Schedule

• Only work 84 hours every two weeks but earn 76 hours of straight pay and 8 hours of guaranteed overtime every two weeks
• On average 15 scheduled days per month
• Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend
• 12-hour continuous schedule

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift at a safe speed and within company guidelines
• Receive, ship, load, and unload all product, raw material and supplies
• Keep production line supplied with the necessary raw material and supplies needed to run efficiently
• Stack finished goods in the warehouse at various heights
• Complete proper documentation and prepare necessary reports on incoming shipments
• Maintain the forklifts in a clean and orderly fashion and perform daily forklift safety inspection
• Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalency
• Ability to demonstrate forklift driving experience and pass a certification test
• The ability to follow instructions and be a team player
• A safety-oriented mindset
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
