Warehouse Forklift Operator

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Rochelle, Illinois. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career opportunity in a safe supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks.
• Handling paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• An ability to work in a diverse work environment.
• Able to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• A high degree of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Adequate attention to detail and excellent follow-up practices.

Pay

Weekly Pay
Hourly Pay: $20.50 per hour
Additional Pay: $0.75 per hour for nights worked

Schedule

Second Shift, Monday to Friday from 5:30 pm - 4:00 am with one day off through the week and weekends off unless mandated.
