Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks.
• Handling day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during peak production hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Flexible scheduling to work various shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.

Pay

• Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour.
• Overtime Pay: $32.25 per hour.
• Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour.
• After 6 months of employment: $0.75 pay increase.

Schedule

• First Shift: Wednesday - Saturday, 4:00 am - 4:00 pm (Half day on Wednesday).
