Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Punctual and good attendance record.
• Available to work on flexible schedules.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
• Valid Driver's License and meets Ryder's driving qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Skills

• Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Scanners and enter orders into a WMS System.

Pay

• $18.97 per hour.

Schedule

• First Shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
