Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift
About the role
Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Lawrenceville, GA. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Load, pick, pack, ship, receive, and unload trucks.
- Audit, tote induction, stage products, and handle day-to-day paperwork.
- Support the automated packing system during peak production hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
- High degree of initiative and accuracy.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with scanners and entering orders into a WMS System.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting automated systems.

Pay
$17.39 per hour, with potential for raises based on performance.
Schedule
First Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
