Warehouse- Fork Lift Driver 1st Shift

Job Summary

Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting shipping goals for customer orders by performing all required shipping and receiving functions.

Essential Functions

- Operates fork lift to load and unload vehicles. - Insures all products are properly coded. - Pulls orders and assists in warehouse placement of stock. - Assists in inventory and cycle counts. - Completes all required logs, completes shipping and receiving paperwork, and performs monthly inventory without assistance. - Assists in setting up by pulling ingredients or loading blending platforms. - Fills in for supervisor. - Has knowledge of finished goods and raw material storage areas. - Understands shipping and receiving department including paperwork. - Operates as a self-starter and multi-tasks.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. - Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment. - Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of stand up forklift and load move system.

Work Environment

The job is performed in the production area where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery.

Pay

Pay range $20.00 - $25.00 an hour.
