Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into elevated rack locations.
- Retrieve palletized units from rack locations for outbound shipments.
- Use RF scanners to accurately record inventory, weights, counts, and product conditions.
- Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and lifting devices.
- Complete daily forklift inspections and equipment checklists.
- Monitor battery charge levels, maintain batteries, and ensure equipment is properly stored and charged.
- Work with other warehouse machinery and material handling equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Preferred Experience
- Stand-up Reach Forklift experience.
- RF Scanner experience.
- Warehouse experience in a high-volume distribution environment.
Highly Desired
- Case Picking experience.
- Clamp Forklift experience.
- Barrel Grabber attachment experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from freezer environments as low as -20°F to dry storage environments up to 100°F while wearing company-provided PPE.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse noise levels.
