Warehouse Equipment Operator-Weekends P/T

Responsibilities

• Uses power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products;
• Operates manual or electric carts in order to fill orders;
• From the receiving area, scan and count items and load on cart;
• Stock items appropriately by location and quantity;
• Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves;
• Check off merchandise as received;
• Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet;
• Aid in pulling parts during busy times;
• Work with stock manager to address any problems with orders;
• Perform miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience operating power industrial equipment;
• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal;
• Understand map locations;
• Sort by alpha or numeric;
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements;
• Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment;
• Attention to detail;
• Great communication skills;
• Time management skills;
• Able to work well under pressure;
• Able to work well with other staff members and supervisors;
• Open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time;
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse;
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
