Warehouse Equipment Operator

- Responsible for specialized tasks including the movement and management of all required materials and supplies to operate warehousing operation efficiently and effectively using various material handling equipment. May have a generalized role working in many areas of the warehouse.
- Receive, locate or pick materials within Labelmaster warehouse to and from stocking or picking locations
- Verify quantity of material is correct and conforming
- Organize and maintain material stored in warehouse
- Maintain Kanban of consumable materials used for manufacturing operations
- Deliver required materials to rework areas
- Handle all required electronic and manual transactions via ERP system to maintain accurate inventory of materials and stock in all areas of usage
- Receive Mechanicalized forklift training and certification
- Safely operate forklift or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, various manufacturing and warehouse functions.
- Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
- Notify Leadership of any damaged or non-sellable product
- Complete and turn in your daily activity sheet
- Complete required quality inspections
- Meet productivity and accuracy goals
- Might be moved to other areas as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- 3-5 Years Previous Manufacturing Warehouse Experience Preferred
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Forklift and Equipment Operator Experience
- Familiarity with RF Scanners
- Computer and Inventory Experience
- Observe & act in accordance with all applicable laws & regulations & company policies
- Ability to follow instructions/procedures
- Ability to read & interpret documents
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to follow through on all tasks
- Team Player
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle pressure and deadline
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age
- Must pass the Drug Test
- Must pass the Background Check
Essential Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds in a physical environment
- Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes
- Ability to make repetitive movements, including, but not limited to, using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.
