Warehouse Employee / Truck Driver

About the Role

Support warehouse operations both on and off the airport site, including shipping, receiving, unloading trucks, pulling, packing, delivering stock orders, and maintaining shop areas. Collaborate with store management, vendors, and airport staff to ensure compliance with rules and regulations for deliveries and merchandise movement. Learn warehouse layout, inventory types, and merchandise departments.

Responsibilities

• Put the customer first at all times (internal and external customers)
• Provide best-in-class customer service through efficient inventory control processes and distribution
• Properly utilize and respect company-issued tools and resources, following security practices
• Create and maintain good working relationships with fellow associates
• Maintain store, stockroom, and warehouse appearance, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations, visual merchandising, housekeeping, and maintenance standards
• Efficiently and accurately conduct receiving, cycle counts, product returns, and transfer transactions using handheld or company equipment
• Complete required process controls (paperwork, etc.)
• Ensure consistent application of stock security as per defined processes
• Resolve inventory control issues and escalate as required
• Accurately report and follow up on all IMT issues
• Identify and report discrepancies to management according to defined processes
• Price stock and assist in store stocking as needed
• Maintain and deliver stock to various locations throughout the day
• Pull reports and fill orders to ensure adequate merchandise levels
• Assist sales associates and managers with putting away stock, setting planograms, and promotions
• Perform necessary store functions, including customer service, register transactions, and maintenance

Qualifications

• Ability to learn warehouse layout, inventory types, and merchandise departments
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving functions
• Ability to communicate effectively with store management, vendors, and airport staff
