Warehouse Driver, Swedesboro NJ

What You Will Do

• Operate a 26’ box truck in compliance with all applicable state and federal DOT transportation laws
• Safely transport and deliver materials while obeying traffic laws and company safety policies
• Maneuver truck into loading and unloading areas at warehouses and job sites
• Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts, order pickers, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment
• Unload empty skids and return equipment to designated storage areas
• Complete monthly Vehicle Inspection Reports (VIR)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of truck interior and exterior
• Support general warehouse duties as needed
• Maintain strong safety awareness for yourself, crew members, and job site personnel
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations
• Use GPS systems to navigate delivery routes efficiently
• Perform additional related duties as assigned

What You Will Need

• Valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to pass DOT physical
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience operating a 26’ box truck

Preferred Qualifications

• Warehouse experience strongly preferred
• Experience operating a forklift, order picker, and hand trucks preferred but not required

Schedule

Regular hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00a - 4:00p with the potential for additional OT.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Repeated and frequent ability to lift, from floor to above head 50 lbs
• Ability to drive, sit, stand, climb, kneel, bend, lift, crawl, squat, reach and utilize both hands and feet
• Requires the ability to sit for extended periods, stand, bend, walk, communicate via telephone, computer and/or face-to-face contact, vision to monitor, and use basic office equipment such as a personal computer, copier and fax machines regularly during the course of work
• Will be required to operate vehicle for Company business
• Work is primarily performed in and out of a warehouse environment
• Environmental Conditions exposure is heat, cold, dust, wet, vibration and loud noise

Pay & Benefits

• Expected compensation includes $18 to $20 an hour
