Warehouse/Driver (Non-CDL)

About the role
Starting hourly wage: $18.00/hour+
Warehouse associates are responsible for warehouse tasks including unloading trucks, receiving material, put-away of material, picking customer orders, staging customer orders for delivery, and loading customer delivery trucks.
Non-CDL Drivers deliver to customer shops and job sites using a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate. Routes are uploaded onto a company-provided smartphone for navigation. Drivers assist with loading their truck and review orders for accuracy before delivery. Watch a day in the life of a delivery driver.
Note: Drivers handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces, and showers.
Responsibilities
- Help load truck
- Use smartphone to navigate to stops on-time
- Unload materials for customer
- Verify delivery for accuracy
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Requirements
- Ability to drive large vehicles
- Valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Ability to use a smartphone
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Customer service experience
- Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
- Warehouse experience
- RF Scanner experience
