Warehouse & Driver Field Support Technician

The Field Support Technician will function as a combination of warehouse associate, delivery driver, field superintendent assistant, and general handyman. The Field Support Technician supports warehouse, production, delivery, and field operations. This is a hands-on entry-level position that involves packaging and preparing materials, staging flooring products, delivering materials from the warehouse or vendor locations to customers’ homes, and assisting with general field support. The position may also assist with punch list work, such as touch-up painting, installing missing doorstops, securing or re-nailing trim, and completing other minor repairs that do not require multiple days of specialized trade work. Primary Responsibilities: Package and prepare materials for delivery and productionStage flooring products by stacking boxes, wrapping materials, and preparing orders for deliveryLoad and unload flooring, construction materials, samples, tools, and other productsDeliver materials to customers’ homes and job sites in a timely and professional mannerSafely drive a company truck and tow, maneuver, and back a large trailerCommunicate professionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal staffAssist with bringing materials into customers’ homes while taking care to protect floors, walls, furniture, and other propertyAssist with punch list work, including touch-up painting, installing doorstops, securing or re-nailing trim, and completing other minor repairsSupport field teams with general job site cleanup, material movement, and preparationHelp maintain cleanliness, organization and efficiency throughout the office and warehouseAssist office staff with lifting and moving flooring samples, desks, chairs, equipment, and other itemsHelp organize warehouse materials, products, tools, and suppliesFollow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional appearanceComplete assigned tasks independently and communicate any issues or delays promptlyProvide general support wherever needed to help projects and daily operations run efficientlyPerform safe, accurate, and timely preparation and delivery of materials Qualifications: Experience with forklift operation and safe material handlingValid driver's license with a clean driving recordDelivery driving and route managementExperience towing, backing, and maneuvering trailers safelyLoading, unloading, packaging, and staging materials for transportWarehouse operations and inventory/material handlingGeneral handyman; basic painting, trim installation, and minor residential repairsWilling to work Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m Note: This description indicates, in general terms, the type and level of work performed and responsibilities held by the team member(s).
