Warehouse/Driver

About the role

We are currently seeking someone who will safely load material and product then secure on delivery truck as our delivery driver.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe loading, securing and delivery of orders.
• Plans staging and efficient organization of material and product for storage, retrieval, and timely delivery.
• Ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and takes responsibility for the security of the assets in their charge.
• Responsible for compliance with established internal control procedures to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Improvement & Development of warehouse.
• Research to improve all warehouse operations according to company's objectives.
• Self-starter yet able to take orders as directed.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to safely operate forklift in a warehouse. Certificate requested but not required.
• Experience driving 1 Ton Flatbed with a clean driving record.
• Requires minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment.
• Solid Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills up and down an organization structure, strong planning, great organization and follow up skills, excellent people, and process management skills.

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Trucking Driver Type: Company driver, Solo driver

Experience: Route driving: 1 year (Preferred)
