Warehouse Driver

As a Warehouse Driver you will support community programs and thrift‑shop operations by transporting donations and customer orders, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining an organized, efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Transportation & Deliveries

• Deliver customer purchases in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Pick up donations and merchandise throughout the service area.
• Maintain accurate documentation and delivery records.
• Operate a 16‑foot box truck safely and responsibly.

Customer Service

• Serve as a positive ambassador for Blue Ridge Care.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers and donors.
• Build positive relationships through professionalism and respect.

Warehouse Operations

• Organize, sort, and store merchandise efficiently.
• Assist with seasonal inventory storage for thrift shop locations.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including a baler.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and organized facilities.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform minor furniture and merchandise repairs as needed.
• Assist with warehouse projects and daily operational needs.
• Support team members in achieving department goals.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Experience operating box trucks (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, organized, and self‑motivated.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and transport merchandise.
• Familiarity with the local service area (a plus).
• Commitment to teamwork and exceptional service.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
