Warehouse Driver Associate

About the role

Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate / Backup Driver responsible for accurately and safely stocking, organizing, and managing warehouse inventory, fulfilling customer orders, yard duties, and supporting daily shipping and receiving of orders. This role ensures materials are handled efficiently and safely to support timely customer deliveries, including backup non-CDL driving duties.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize products safely and accurately
• Assist customers on phone and in person, often involving order entry
• Pull and prepare customer orders for pick-up, UPS shipment, or delivery
• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory
• Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items
• Assist with cycle counts and other forms of physical inventory verification as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures
• Serve as backup driver for non-regulated vehicle
• Lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously through workday
• Stay in motion much of the workday, often in areas that are not climate controlled
• Move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT medical card
• High school diploma or combination of work experience and education
• Experience in a distribution, fulfillment, or warehouse environment
• Forklift certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training)
• Able to pass drug screen, driving screening, and background screenings

Pay
