Warehouse Driver Associate

About the role

Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a Full Time Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver responsible for accurately and safely stocking, organizing, and managing warehouse inventory, fulfilling customer orders, yard duties, and supporting daily shipping and receiving of orders. This role ensures materials are handled efficiently and safely to support timely customer deliveries. Backup driver duties involve non‑CDL vehicle operation. Job location: Beehive Brick and Stone, 2400 S 800 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84070.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
• Assist customers on phone and in person, often involving order entry.
• Pull and prepare customer orders for pick‑up, UPS shipment or delivery.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.
• Assist with cycle counts and other forms of physical inventory verification as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Serve as backup driver for non‑regulated vehicles.
• Lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
• Stay in motion much of the workday, often in areas that are not climate controlled.
• Move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks; involves active physical work.
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
• Experience in a distribution, fulfillment, or warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training).
• Capability to pass a pre‑employment drug test, driving and background screening.
