Warehouse Document Storage Clerk

Job Summary

Responsible for processing the receipt of all incoming and outgoing boxes of inactive patient records or ancillary department records. This requires filing/records and responsible for processing, retrieving, and securing patient information in bags, bins and boxes for shipping to customer locations.

In this role you will:

• Receive and check-in all incoming boxes, X-ray film or any inactive documents based on pick-up request/order
• Process out-bounds, delivery requests for pertinent patient records, bins, bags, and/or boxes
• Document all incoming and outgoing boxes via computer system through Versatile software
• Verify input data received from Hospitals that it is correct according to Record Retention Schedules created by Nashville Record Management Department
• Maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers and other team members
• Maintain material handling equipment and report any potential problems
• Assist management in the direct workflow in the receiving area, setting priorities and meeting deadlines for receiving material

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year previous clerk experience
• Prior computer experience

Pay

Hourly Wage Estimate: $18.00 - $20.53 / hour

Schedule

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 9am - 5:30pm, Thursday 8am - Noon, Friday - Off
