Description Of Tasks

• Payroll Reviews timeclock punches for accuracy and correct tracking of work hours performed by warehouse staff.
• Shipping Prepares outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to order specifications.
• Participates in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
• Receiving Assists in the loading and unloading of trucks using forklifts or other equipment as needed. Receives incoming shipments, verifies contents, and accurately records received items into the inventory system.
• Maintains organized and clean warehouse space to facilitate efficient workflow and safe working conditions.
• Order Processor Collaborates with other team members to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
• Inventory Control Communicates effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues that may arise. Performs regular inventory counts and reconciles discrepancies to ensure accurate stock levels. Verifies pick and reserve locations, confirms accuracy of reported inventory, and makes adjustments as necessary.
• Follows all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a distribution environment is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Three years or more of relevant experience in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is preferred.
• Must be able to work in a multi-temperature environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Warehouse experience in high volume food service, distribution, logistics, or equivalent is preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety and/or OSHA standards is desired.
