About the Role

The HME Technician is a self‑motivated, energetic, and compassionate team member responsible for warehouse operations, package handling, equipment deliveries, patient service, and other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or Sr. Manager, Operations. This role also supports the maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicles and warehouse facilities. This is a full‑time position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and document medical supplies/equipment deliveries, verifying accuracy against packing lists and condition of goods.
  • Load, unload, and stock shelves with products, medical supplies, and equipment as needed.
  • Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
  • Pack, secure, and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain assigned delivery vehicles through preventative maintenance, weekly interior/exterior upkeep, and arranging repairs.
  • Deliver, set up, and maintain equipment at client locations, completing all required paperwork (invoices, work orders, manifests, logs).
  • Deliver equipment and oxygen in accordance with industry standards and applicable regulations.
  • Assist with periodic company inventory and perform other general warehouse duties.
  • Preserve a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat.
  • Represent the company professionally and courteously with clients/patients.
  • Maintain equipment per manufacturer guidelines and assist in troubleshooting client equipment problems when appropriate.
  • Assume on‑call responsibilities and report equipment hazards or product incidents per company policy.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of delivery experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Excellent organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
