Warehouse Delivery Driver

Duties/Responsibilities

• Unloads and delivers cases of products to customers.
• Communicates with the routing administrator to coordinate delivery scheduling.
• Handles merchandise with care to ensure products arrive in top condition.
• Performs inventory control functions to maintain accuracy.
• Picks and pulls orders with precision, verifying product received.
• Organizes and maintains warehouse supplies and staging areas.
• Returns signed delivery paperwork daily.
• Shrink-wraps pallets by hand as needed.
• Keeps production and staging lanes clear to maximize efficiency.
• Operates a forklift when needed.
• Responsible for maintaining an organized, clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Adhere to laws requiring warehouse safety protocols as well as company standards
• Ensures product is located in appropriate locations.
• Reports any product damages, loss or unsellable conditions to management team
• Handles merchandise with care to insure it arrives at the store in the best possible condition
• Communicate with team members in different departments regarding situations that arise related to their accounts inventory or orders
• Provides excellent customer service on the phone and during delivery
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to adhere to safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; second language a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and team-oriented attitude.
• Previous experience in warehouse or distribution operations preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
• Ability to push and pull up to 200 lbs.
• Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
