Position Summary The Temporary Warehouse Delivery Driver supports the day-to-day operations of a construction/HVAC warehouse by managing materials, tools, and equipment used in the field. This role plays a critical part in ensuring technicians and project teams have the right materials at the right time to keep jobs on schedule. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-driven environment. Must be able to drive a 40’ gooseneck trailer and preferably have some kind of warehouse, delivery, and forklift experience. Key Responsibilities Material & Inventory ManagementReceive, inspect, and verify incoming HVAC equipment, parts, and materials (ductwork, piping, fittings, units, etc.)Track and maintain accurate inventory levels of stock and job-specific materialsOrganize warehouse stock for efficient access by field teamsAssist with cycle counts and inventory audits Job Support & Order Fulfillment Pull and stage materials for upcoming jobs based on work orders or project schedulesCoordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, and Technicians to ensure material readinessLoad and unload trucks with equipment and supplies for job sitesPrepare and track material deliveries to multiple job sitesTools & Equipment ManagementIssue, track, and maintain tools and equipment for field employeesInspect tools for condition and ensure proper maintenance or repairManage tool check-in/check-out processesWarehouse Organization & Yard ManagementMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yardProperly store materials to prevent damage, loss, or weather exposureAssist with organizing large equipment, trailers, and job site returns Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standardsEnsure safe handling of materials, including heavy equipment and HVAC unitsReport any safety concerns, incidents, or damaged materials Qualifications 1+ year of warehouse, construction, or HVAC experience preferredFamiliarity with HVAC materials, tools, and equipment strongly preferredBasic computer skills (inventory systems, scanning, or work orders)Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)Valid driver’s license High school diploma or equivalent required Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizationAbility to prioritize and manage multiple job requestsTeam-oriented with strong communication skillsReliable, punctual, and self-motivatedComfortable working in a hands-on, physical role Why Join Kelso Industries?
