Warehouse & Delivery Associate

About the role

Support warehouse operations by transporting materials over designated routes while ensuring safe vehicle operation. Provide prompt and courteous deliveries, verify loads against ship tickets and manifests, secure cargo, unload materials accurately, perform daily vehicle inspections, and carry out receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparation of products for customer delivery. Maintain an orderly warehouse and adhere to safety‑sensitive standards, including a pre‑employment drug test screening for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines per HHS/SAMHSA cutoff levels.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials over designated routes and operate vehicles safely.
• Make prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders.
• Ensure material loaded on the truck matches the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and is secured for safe transport.
• Unload materials at each delivery location in an orderly fashion, verifying correctness against the Ship Ticket.
• Perform daily detailed inspections of the vehicle for general maintenance and safety.
• Handle all warehouse functions: receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery while keeping the warehouse orderly.
• Maintain constant safety awareness as a safety‑sensitive position.
• Undergo pre‑employment drug testing as described.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with Android or iOS operating systems.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Minimum of three (3) years of driving history.
• Satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) with no Type A violations or speeding violations exceeding 15 mph over the limit in the past three (3) years, and no more than one (1) Type B violation in the same period.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating a commercial motor vehicle with a GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or greater within the last 36 months.

Skills

• Strong reading, writing, basic calculations, data entry, reasoning, and analysis abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing a variety of tasks accurately and with attention to detail in a team‑oriented environment.
