Warehouse & Delivery Associate

Responsibilities

• Provides order and delivery services supporting branch operations.
• Handles all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery.
• Maintains the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Able to identify product by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Must be able to read orders and match them to items picked.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification for power-truck equipment.
• Operate inventory control equipment such as bar-coding equipment and handheld devices.
• Fluent in English and Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Passes a pre-employment drug test screening for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines.
• Background check for any job-related convictions.
• DOT physical examination required.

Physical Requirements

• Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
• Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
• May require climbing ladders for top-level selection.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
