About the role
Ryder is hiring an Inventory Cycle Counter/ Material Handler in Whitestown, Indiana. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks.
- Handling day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
- Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during peak production hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
- A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An ability to work in a diverse work environment.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
- A flexible schedule to accommodate various work shifts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Pay
Hourly Pay: $20.50 per hour
Overtime Pay: $30.75 per hour
Additional Pay: $1.50 per hour when working night shift
Schedule
Night Shift
Sunday-Wednesday: 4:30pm-2:30am
