Ryder is hiring a Inventory Cycle Counter/ Material Handler in Whitestown, Indiana. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path you can feel good about. Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly, with an hourly rate of $20.50 and overtime at $30.75. Additional pay is offered at $1.50 per hour for night shifts. Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handling day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during the core shift hour of production.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• The ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• The ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• The ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• The ability to work using health and safety methods.
• The ability to work within a flexible schedule on various shifts.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
