About the Role

This position oversees advanced warehousing functions, including shipping, receiving, cycle counting of inventory, making deliveries, and forklift operation. The Warehouse Coordinator III leads and mentors Warehouse Coordinator I and II positions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in warehouse operations while handling complex tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all job responsibilities of a Warehouse Coordinator II.
  • Lead and mentor Warehouse Coordinator I and II positions.
  • Conduct advanced cycle counts, enter them into the system, investigate inventory variance, and perform necessary adjustments after Branch or Warehouse Manager approval.
  • Manage and oversee the un-receiving of purchase orders (POs) as needed.
  • Create and manage vendor returns.
  • Complete work orders with less-than-full Bill of Materials (BOM); receive products from vendors to be disassembled into components by the Shop for restocking as inventory.
  • Ensure familiarity with products and recognize damaged or non-conforming items when receiving or issuing inventory.
  • Coordinate and manage the purchase of warehouse consumables as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality processes and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits of warehouse operations to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Enter Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs) into Intelex.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide training and development for Warehouse Coordinator I and II positions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Excellent customer service skills; ability to provide clear, straightforward information to internal and external customers with a positive attitude.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Effective time management and ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing effectively.
  • Cautious driver with an active driver’s license and a clear driving record in accordance with company driving guidelines.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of advanced hand and power tools.
  • Ability to recognize major valve types and components.
  • Proficient computer knowledge.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must pass a background check within company and customer requirements.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screening.
  • TWIC (preferred).
  • Current Basic OSHA Safety Training (preferred).

Essential Physical Functions

  • Lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Bending, stooping, and ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel as required by the role.
