Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Coordinator/Warehouse Clerk in Romeoville, Illinois. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path you can feel good about.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative tasks for area or shift.
• Maintains filing systems and documents per SOP.
• Generates daily, weekly, or monthly reports, memos, and summaries often of a technical and/or confidential nature.
• Captures and provides information to employees pertaining to area of support.
• Uses the location's Warehouse Management System (WMS) to update area or shift metrics as needed.
• Depends on location, may be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified.
• Performs additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience as a clerk in a warehouse/distribution environment, performing duties such as transportation coordination, inventory, shipping/receiving, coordinating with various carriers, vendors, and customers is preferred.
• Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of WMS systems preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• Equipment certification may be required.

Qualifications

Pay

Weekly Pay
Hourly Pay: $24.00 per hour
Additional Pay: $3 per hour shift pay for night shift

Schedule

Wednesday: 12:00am-6:00am
Thursday - Saturday: 6:00pm-6:00am
