Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to manage shipping order volume by assigning orders for picking, staging, and loading based on various priorities. The role also includes managing and performing functions such as palletizing, door assignment, and check‑in procedures. This position reports to the Shipping Manager and is located at the Malaga Shipping facility (Arvin, CA).

Responsibilities

• Assign orders for picking, staging, and loading according to priority.
• Oversee palletizing, door assignment, and check‑in procedures.
• Manage shipping order volume to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Adapt to a fast‑paced environment and handle overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of logistics or warehouse experience.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities (quantitative and qualitative).
• Proven management, development, leadership, and training techniques to engage staff.
• Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to work independently.

Pay

Starting wage ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, plus a $0.20 night premium.

Schedule

Night shift: Monday – Saturday, 8:00 pm – 4:30 am.
