Responsibilities

  • Promote Company Core Values to foster and safeguard a family-centric culture.
  • Monitor and track job site construction equipment.
  • Oversee all inbound warehouse deliveries.
  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; process purchasing orders as required; track orders and investigate problems.
  • Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; re-stock items as necessary.
  • Operate forklift and other construction equipment as required, ensuring safety standards are followed.
  • Conduct regular visual inspections of equipment location.
  • Record purchases, maintain database, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual inventory received and stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Process and document returns following established procedures.
  • Pick inventory items and coordinate materials shipments bound to client sites.
  • Verify the accuracy of deliveries and materials handling and storage in accordance with contractual obligations and governmental requirements.
  • Keep management informed of area activities and any significant concerns.
  • Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.
  • Travel as required by E2.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years’ logistics/general office management/support experience.
  • Experience working on a construction job site.
  • Experience operating/driving a forklift, company vehicles, and other construction equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 consecutive years with a clear driving record.
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data and manage database.
  • Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Demonstrated professional demeanor and communications with customers, field team, vendors, and management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with deadlines.
  • Strong incident investigation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills.
  • Adaptability to changing situations, work-flow, and deadlines.
  • Able to respond to situations in a positive manner and provide good customer service.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Good command of the English language for effective phone, desk-side, and email support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Able to work independently and as a team player.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level is usually moderate.

  • Requires sitting, use of hands and arms, and verbal communication.
  • Occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling.
  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must regularly carry and climb ladders up to 20 feet.
  • Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required.
  • May be required to work in tight and confined spaces.
