Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

As a Warehouse Coordinator in Cargill’s Food Enterprise, you will leverage the distribution plan to ensure warehouse staffing and truck capacities support all in-bound and out-bound shipments with our third-party logistics (3PL) partner. You will drive improvement with the 3PL to deliver superior customer service to Cargill Cocoa and Chocolate customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform or resolve data entry and issues using spreadsheets and databases based on sales orders and contracts; analyze data, collect and translate implications, and present findings to senior team members.
• Execute all processes for inventory control at third-party warehouses.
• Manage customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Develop strong partnerships with the 3PL warehouse team.
• Champion continuous improvement and accountability between manufacturing plants, shuttle carriers, and 3PL partners.
• Use significant knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry to make recommendations that establish good customer relations.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• One year of experience in supply and inventory planning (preferred).

Position Details

This position is based in Wayzata, MN; Wichita, KS; Milwaukee, WI; or St. Clair, MI. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Pay

The expected salary for this position is $48,000 – $81,000, depending on factors such as location, certifications, education, and experience. This role is eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and personal performance.
