Warehouse Coordinator 1
About the role
The Warehouse Coordinator manages the construction warehouse and storage of project materials. Responsibilities include coordinating material receiving, working with buyers and suppliers, inspecting materials, documenting inspections, and ensuring materials are stored correctly.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage construction warehouse operations and storage of project materials.
- Cook up the receiving of materials by working with buyers, invoice reconcilers, coordinators, and external suppliers.
- Ensure materials are inspected for damage upon arrival and that all inspections are documented.
- Provide receiving documentation to the invoice reconciler for verification.
- Cook up necessary preventative maintenance with appropriate leads until installation and turnover.
- Ensure materials are stored properly according to specific requirements.
- Gather, input, modify, and consolidate various documents as directed.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Experience: 0-3 years of related experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to get along with others.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Demonstrated self-starter and proactive work approach.
