Warehouse/Cooler Operator 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Moves products or materials in warehouse
• Verifies purchase order receipts and delivery to purchasing at the end of day
• Completes daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Limits/unloads stacks and moves items as assigned
• Sorts, bundles, fills containers, places in assembled units
• Mark or put identifying labels on product loads
• Records movement of stock in/out of work areas
• Maintains materials, products, and equipment throughout the process
• Reports irregularities to supervisor
• Prepares and completes orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
• Receives and processes warehouse stock products
• Performs inventory controls and maintains quality standards for audits
• Keeps a clean and safe working environment
• Optimizes space utilization
• Completes logs into inventory and reports any discrepancies
• Communicates and cooperates with supervisors and coworkers
• Operates and maintains preventive warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follows quality service standards and complies with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Performs any other assigned tasks

Requirements

• Five plus years experience in a warehouse setting
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred
• Able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary
• Able to work in a wet environment
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals (for ice cream plants)
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Able to effectively work in a team environment
• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass all medical exams, drug and background checks (including criminal)
