Warehouse Control Center Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Drive, steer, monitor and control all intralogistics flows within the warehouse
  • Act as the first point of contact for all system and process-related issues within the Control Center environment (e.g., SAP, TMS, or WMS)
  • Maintain data integrity and drive supply chain resilience through predictive and proactive problem-solving and technical fluency
  • Monitor real-time logistics data, including status updates, to identify and resolve exceptions before they impact service levels
  • Translate operational and system processes into process flow documents (e.g. BPMN charts, SOPs) and regularly audit those for changes
  • Develop training materials and conduct regular sessions for operational staff to ensure consistent and correct system usage
  • Analyze system performance metrics (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement process optimizations or digital automation predictively and proactively
  • Audit and maintain the quality of system data across the network to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Bridge communications between end-users, key-users, IT development teams, and external partners (suppliers) for system upgrades or customer implementations
  • Lead internal projects in order to streamline and optimize the efficiency of processes and systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related technical field (e.g., Industrial Engineering)
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or warehouse operations, with at least 1–2 years in a system-heavy or "Key User" capacity
  • Must be proficient in ERP (SAP S/4HANA preferred), TMS (Oracle, Blue Yonder), or WMS
  • Advanced data analysis skills using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Familiarity with supply chain visibility tools (e.g., FourKites, Project44)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 5%
  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) preferred
