Warehouse Clerk - Weekend Night Shift

We are expanding our Kings Mountain, NC manufacturing facility and seeking a dedicated Warehouse Clerk to join our team.

About the role

As a Warehouse Clerk, you will receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all job functions.

Schedule

Rotating work schedule: Friday–Sunday and Thursday–Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Check in all trucks (both inbound and outbound) and assign a door.
• Coordinate the loading/unloading of trucks using available warehouse labor.
• Schedule by phone all inbound and outbound trucking appointments, adhering to the schedule put forth by the supervisor.
• Create all necessary Bills of Lading and any other required paperwork for customer shipments.
• Verify that all required paperwork is present and update the daily receiving log.
• Responsible for the accurate logging of receiving and shipping information into D365.
• Print labels for any items or shipments requiring labels.
• Assist with any other warehouse functions as needed.
• Generate and turn in daily shipping and receiving logs.
• Play an active role in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end physical inventories.
• Perform any other duties as required by any Manager, Supervisor, or Lead.

Requirements

• Works with management and fellow associates to ensure Food Safety programs are followed.
• Reports food, office, or operational safety problems to a supervisor or manager for initiating action.
• Able to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Must have the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Must possess intermediate math and reading skills.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be team-oriented.
• Must adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices.
