Summary The Warehouse Selection Clerk - Good Out (Regional) is responsible for all clerical tasks to support the accurate processes of goods in the warehouse. The role part of a team that is responsible for maintaining the flow and efficiency of goods to ensure accurate and timely delivery. What You’ll Do Monitor and verify the Goods-In and Goods-Out processes and action incoming orders from stores such as checking plausibilityPrioritize the flow of goods into the warehouseDiscuss with Goods-Out Clerks regarding the routing plan in order to prioritize selection orders based on transport and sales goalsAssist in designing and optimizing the framework route plan each day based on the number of pallets orderedRegister delivery and outbound data into the warehouse management system Immediately report technical safety faults, needs for repair of equipment or any other damage that might propose a safety risk within the warehouseEnsure health and safety and cleanliness standards are adhered to throughout the entire departmentCheck and count pallets on Goods-Out lanes and prioritize the flow of goods leaving the warehouseConsult with Supply Chain operators when errors occurSupply different consumables to the Pickers for the selection processPrepare reports that accurately reflect processesSupport warehouse inventory processesMonitor picking progress and assign ordersMonitor all drivers to ensure the correct health and safety procedures are followedPerform other duties as assigned What You’ll Need Must be 18 years or older0 - 2 years of experience in related fieldAbility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to work in a fast-paced working environment, including the store(s), distribution center(s), warehouse(s), and/or corporate office(s) with the capability to switch job functions/roles quicklyAbility to work in situations that involve prolonged sitting, standing, walking, squatting and/or bending and twisting more than half the timeAbility to work in various conditions in temperatures around or below freezing, such as outdoor weather conditions or freezersAbility to maneuver cases of product (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) in excess of 50 lbs. and reachAbove head to heights greater than 10 inches frequently in accordance with safety regulationsMust be able to handle all Lidl products, to include but not limited to, meat, poultry, alcohol products, and food products with known allergens, such as nutsAbility to operate heavy machinery and/or equipment that requires the constant use of hands/fingers/wrists more than half the timeAbility to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitorsAbility to handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate mannerAbility to identify and distinguish between colors more than half the time What You’ll Receive At Lidl, we know that in order for our people to do their best, they must be at their best.
