Ryder is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Sturtevant, Wisconsin — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly Hourly Pay $22.25 per hour Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to second shift Schedule: Second Shift - Monday through Friday 2:30 PM -11:00 PM

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Products Being Handled: Medical Supplies. Equipment: Ability to Learn/Operate Powered Industrial Equipment, such as Stand-up and Sit-Down Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Pallet Jacks, Etc.

Responsibilities

• Check truck drivers in and out
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
• Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity in accordance with warehouse direction and vendor assignment in warehouse
• Verify the accuracy of all shipping and receiving documentation
• Partner with the inventory department to resolve any discrepancies
• Assist in appointment scheduling as needed
• Update required reports on a timely basis
• Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs
• Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified
• Other duties as required or assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent PC skills in MS Office
• SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
