Warehouse Clerk
Reporting to the Branch Manager. Full-time and part-time administrative, non-exempt positions available.

Purpose
The warehouse clerk handles Pine’s incoming and outgoing rental equipment and manages the company’s stock through allocations and system updates.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Proactively communicate order status, delays, and equipment substitutions to customers
- Lead the investigation and resolution process for damaged returned equipment
- Serve as the point of contact for drivers returning with equipment
- Support the Operations team to check and confirm equipment orders are complete and ready for delivery or shipment
- Perform quality control checks on all orders
- Assist in locating equipment and shipping logistics
- Handle shipping and receiving, including completing Hazmat Shipping Certification
- Perform daily cycle counts for inventory control
- Resolve internal and external customer problems
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness
- Monitor inventory and maintain accurate labeling of equipment
- Fill orders or issue supplies from stock
- Check physical condition of supplies and inventory
- Count materials, documents, and other items
- Record numbers, codes, or other information
- Use technology (PCs, scanners, etc.) to complete job tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to think analytically with a focus on problem troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone)
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
- Solid planning and organizational skills
- High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience preferred
- Flexible and strong team player that can work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
Work is performed in an office setting and in a variety of client settings, including exposure to seasonal weather, damp, and/or dusty locations. Frequent employee and client contacts and interruptions occur in person and via telephone. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Physical Demands
This position is 10% sedentary and 90% active, involving activities such as sitting, walking, standing, bending, stretching, and climbing (ladder) for long periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted and may require driving a company vehicle. May be required to work outside normal business hours, including mornings and evenings.
