About the Role
Under general supervision, this role involves following oral or written work orders for the storage or movement of received stock, equipment, or merchandise. The Warehouse Clerk uses forklifts or power devices to transport materials to and from storage or work sites and stores items in designated areas for convenient retrieval.
Responsibilities
- Handles raw materials, sub-assemblies, and CCS-MEXICO shipments (incoming and outgoing).
- Prepares and issues material to the Machine Shop.
- Tracks, codes, or marks merchandise for inventory purposes.
- Checks all pallets of products before stacking to ensure they are in good condition.
- Places products in proper locations for stacking.
- Knowledgeable about the company’s rotating system to ensure proper product rotation.
- Familiar with product descriptions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Fills walk-in orders as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness of the Warehouse departments.
- Maintains all required certifications mandated by OSHA and Company safety programs.
- Ensures quality meets acceptable standards with minimal discrepant work.
- Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards.
- Accomplishes production quotas.
- Works consistently, including overtime, and travels as required.
- Conducts themselves in a business-like and civil manner.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and adaptability to changes.
- Performs other essential tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED (minimum).
- Five or more years of related experience.
- Experience in Aerospace is a plus.
