Position Overview The Warehouse Clerk provides administrative support for warehouse operations while assisting with daily floor activities as needed. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing shipping and receiving documentation, and coordinating inventory transactions. Branch: All Tile - CCS in Wood Dale, IL Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Pay: $18-$21/hr Essential Functions Administrative & Documentation Process shipping, receiving, and inventory-related paperwork.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the WMS.Verify purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents for accuracy.File and organize warehouse records in accordance with company procedures. Warehouse Operations Support Support warehouse personnel during peak workloads and staffing needs.Assist with order picking, packing, staging, and receiving activities when required.Support supervisors with daily operational tasks and workflow coordination.Support inventory accuracy initiatives and process improvements. Safety & Housekeeping Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment as required.Follow OSHA and company safety regulations.Use proper lifting techniques and material handling procedures.Maintain clean work areas.Promote safe work practices among team members.Identify and report unsafe conditions.Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Degree. Work Experience 2+ years of previous warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or clerical experience.Experience in the flooring and building materials industry is a plus.Experience working with WMS; Epicor P21 is a plus. Physical Demand and Work Environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Basic math skills and reading comprehension skills.Strong data entry and database management skills.Accurate typing and documentation skills.Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, and reaching.Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver equipment.Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.Able to wear work boots, safety-toed shoes, hi-vis vest, and meet the standard of the company’s workplace safety.Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and operating powered industrial equipment.Legally permitted to work in the United States.
