About the role

This position manages and supports all warehouse logistics, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and the control panel fabrication shop. Additional responsibilities include tool crib and safety equipment management. The ideal candidate is well-organized and maintains a neat, orderly workspace and warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in all warehouse logistics, including inbound and outbound freight.
  • Coordinates third-party courier services for project material deliveries to subcontractors and construction sites.
  • Processes and communicates expedited inbound freight daily for Service Operations and field project teams.
  • Supports inventory management of materials and hardware related to construction, service, and panel fabrication.
  • Manages inventory, disbursement, and replenishment of office and field safety equipment and gear.
  • Coordinates check-out/check-in of all field safety equipment.
  • Supports coordination and communication of material and hardware deliveries and orders to field teams.
  • Communicates effectively with project team members regarding problems, obstacles, issues, and information needs.
  • Processes material packing lists for orders and files them in project archive folders.
  • Handles all RMA (Return Material Authorizations) requests, including product/vendor documentation and shipping.
  • Performs project and/or customer site deliveries as needed, secondary to courier and lift gate truck services.
  • Manages all aspects of the local office tool crib inventory, including check-in/check-out requests and NIST Certification requirements for technical tools.
  • Supports panel shop fabrication as directed by Operations Management.
  • Organizes and inventories PM/PE stocking racks as requested.
  • Performs other operational support duties as assigned by Department Operations Managers.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of related work experience in warehouse logistics.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Highly organized with a clean and neat work area.
  • Ability to operate independently while knowing when to consult or escalate issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to handle a high volume of issues.
  • Ability to read construction blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, Google Gmail, and Dropbox.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet schedules.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger/handle, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Requires close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequently required to sit and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.
  • Regular and routine attendance is required.
