About the role
The Warehouse Clerk I will be assigned to the general Distribution Center team to provide administrative support by performing routine office or clerical support tasks according to well-established company procedures. This role will also perform cross-functional duties within the Distribution Center to support workflow and operational flow. Coordinate daily with the process SA team and Receiving team for incoming merchandise to check daily volume.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily report for incoming merchandise by category
- Provide QC failures/daily report
- Provide chargeback and warning report
- Track weekly QC failures
- Track TOP samples
- Provide up-to-date QC reports
- Provide daily recaps
- Maintain filing system for all retained documents
- Pull various production reports
- Perform data entry to create, update, or change records
- Sort incoming mail and distribute to appropriate recipients
- Complete tasks as required by the department manager/supervisors
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Well-organized with the ability to multitask
- Experience in a large-scale warehouse/distribution center environment preferred, but not required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends, graveyard shifts, holidays, etc.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Able and willing to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Perform frequent repetitive finger, hand, and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- Able to sit for prolonged periods in front of a computer
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear
- Occasionally required to climb or balance
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
- Frequently exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud

Pay
Pay Range: $18.00 per hour. The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
