Warehouse Clerk, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm- $21.12/hr.

About the role

The warehouse clerk position is responsible for various tasks including transferring inventory, assisting customers, processing bills of lading, and maintaining quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and transfer inventory, allocate finished goods, and process purchase orders in SAP system.
• Log receipts into product reports, verify data, and enter information into the computer system.
• Prepare and process bills of lading for customer shipments, ensuring product availability and investigating inventory errors.
• Assist customers at the will-call window by handling product and package deliveries, notifying recipients, and directing drivers.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, PPE, SOP, HACCP, and OSHA regulations, and maintain the integrity of the food safety and quality system.
• Evaluate hazards, verify measures, and take actions to maintain a safe work environment.
• Work safely, report hazards, and perform tasks requiring physical exertion such as standing, lifting, and moving packages.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or obtain within 90 days.
